The purpose of the Fund is the granting, on an annual basis, of a prize of 2.000,- Euro for a selected deserving prize-winner among the graduate students and/or researchers of the department of computer science.

The work submitted for this prize should be a thesis submitted to obtain the degree of burgerlijk ingenieur in de Computerwetenschappen, licentiaat Informatica. It should include a summary, for a non-academic audience and in English language, that highlights the importance of the work.

The contributions will be evaluated on the basis of academic work on a graduate level with a scientific value above average and representing non-orthodox thinking with creative values.

The prize-winner will be selected for his/her open minded personality and interest in practical applications of the research performed.
